Nick Hayhoe picks out the salient points from a third straight victory....
Biggest Positive
Pukki took his goal like the Pukki of two years ago, which is always extremely comforting to see. It was never going to be a quick return to form for him, as that’s just not how football works, but he looks well on the road to recovery. Still not 100% sure about the two up front experiment, but I don’t know anything about football so you’re probably better off consulting with someone else for thoughts on that subject.
Weekend Whinge
Having looked like we were going to be in total control of the game after the opener, Wycombe go and score. Yet another absolutely horrendous goal to concede from a defensive perspective and, with Hanley at fault again, the issues around that centre back position become very stark indeed.
Farke Watch
I have developed a bizarre, irrational dislike of managers giving each other praise before matches. Yeah I know it’s the modern way blah blah blah…but I dunno, I just find it a bit nausea inducing the way Ainsworth and our Dan were praising each other in their retrospective pre-match press conferences. Come on lads I want the drama.
Random Star Performer
I initially had Idah down here (even suggesting he’d start in the week) and then he went and got sent off, so instead let’s go obvious rather than random. It’s the trusty left foot of Mario Vrancic.
Moment of the Match
Was very tempted to put the fact the ball burst in the first half here, as I don’t think I have ever seen that before and, like the ball hitting the corner flag and staying in, is one of those small rare pleasures that often crop up in football. As for an actual answer, it’s always going to be a last minute winner isn’t. Just how easy does he make that look?
Summary
A win is a win (*grimace face emoji*) but this game has, I must admit, made me extremely worried about the Brentford game. We really need to step it up for midweek otherwise we are going to be in for a real shock. Though seeing how their defense got on against Stoke, who knows what the result is going to be. Don’t expect solid defending…

Norwich are aiming for a third consecutive victory for the first time in, well, bloody ages. Standing in their way are newly promoted Wycombe, who have lost their first six fixtures. You know what usually happens next. Here’s Jon Punt's chat with Tom Hancock of Chairboys Central about this weekend’s game….

It's a midweek game away from home against Brentford. So an obvious time for Nick Hayhoe to have a crisis...
In fairness to Hanley, neither him of Gibson have played footer in some time. The sliver of hope is they get up to speed the more they play together… and fast…
